Dr. Santosh B Dethe

Dr. Santosh B. Dethe is a highly experienced and dedicated Consultant Pediatrician & Neonatologist with extensive expertise in child healthcare, neonatal intensive care, and pediatric critical care. With a strong academic background and years of hands-on clinical experience, he is committed to delivering compassionate and evidence-based medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.

He completed his MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai, followed by a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Rajiv Gandhi Medical College, Thane. Further enhancing his specialization, Dr. Dethe pursued a Fellowship in NICU from the prestigious B. J. Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai.

Dr. Dethe has trained and worked at some of the most reputed institutions, including B. J. Wadia Hospital, where he gained in-depth experience in PICU and NICU care. He has also served as a Pediatrician and Intensivist at leading hospitals across Thane and Mumbai, managing critically ill neonates and children with advanced care protocols.

With a keen interest in neonatal care and pediatric emergencies, he has contributed to research on ductal closure in premature neonates and has presented papers on rare and critical neonatal conditions. His dedication to academics and clinical excellence reflects in his continuous involvement in pediatric associations such as the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and the National Neonatal Forum (NNF).

Dr. Dethe is currently associated with multiple reputed hospitals and works as a full-time Consultant at MRR Children’s Hospital. He also consults at Vatsalya Child Care Clinic, Kalwa, providing comprehensive pediatric services including well-baby care, vaccination, asthma management, and high-risk newborn follow-up.
